Designed with a modern approach and spirited color in mind, this well-designed Amy Butler Hand Tufted Wool Rug Bright Buds is hand tufted from 100% fine wool. It provides a soft and thick luxurious feel, is strong, resilient and static resistant making it an ideal choice for a high-traffic area. A hand-tufted rug is created without tying knots into the foundation but rather by pushing wool or acrylic yarn through a primary backing, creating a ‘tuft.’ Then, using a latex glue to hold the ‘tufts’ in place, a rugmaker will apply a secondary foundation which is then covered by a third and final cloth backing to protect your floor.
